What We Do
TrueManhood Catholic is an apostolate for men who want to grow in authentic masculinity while following the TrueMan… Jesus Christ! TrueManhood is operated by Dave DiNuzzo Sr., who founded the ministry in 2008 in an attempt to help men dive into what it really means to be a man. We work to fight the culture by doing the following:
What We Do: #1 – Teach Virtue! #2 – Fight Porn! #3 – Fight “Cultural Manliness”.
How We Do It: A variety of ways, including:
- SPEAKING at Conferences, Parishes, Campuses, and other Catholic events. (Email ‘info@truemanhood.com‘ to book Dave.)
- WRITING – information, encouragement, and inspiration in books, articles, and downloads. ***Check out Dave’s newest book, “The Steep Upward Climb – Practical Knowledge about Virtue and Becoming a Saint” available here and on Amazon.
- ONE-ON-ONE ACCOUNTABILITY & MENTORING: Dave meets with men individually via video conferencing, offering accountability and mentoring services for men working through various difficulties and struggles in their lives. Men looking for encouragement in their masculine journey, assistance in battling pornography use, help in their marriage or parenting, or other areas are encouraged to email Dave to sign up. *Accountability and mentoring, in this setting, is not counseling, therapy, or psychotherapy. An initial purchase of 3 sessions ($150 total) is required to start, with additional sessions costing $75 each. Each session runs 30-45 minutes.
- AUDIO – Dave is frequently on Catholic podcasts and radio shows, and formerly operated “The TrueManhood Podcast”, of which many episodes are still available. (Email ‘info@truemanhood.com‘ for booking requests.)
- CONSULTING: Dave offers consulting services for men, priests, parishes, dioceses, ministries, campuses, and conference organizers. Whether you want to form a successful weekly men’s small group, a larger diocesan-wide men’s ministry, or you want to know how to reach men at your conference, reach out to Dave for assistance.
- Dave also serves the Church (currently) as a Deacon-Candidate with an anticipated ordination date of June 28, 2025.
